"Pak01.cpk is corrupt" has evolved(Error 126). Game files keep getting corrupted

Several of my friends have had this problem

pak01.cpk / dl_streets.vpk is corrupt. Verify integrity of game files.
Usually to solve this my friend would try deleting some random file for the pak01.cpk and then delete dl_streets for the second. https://forums.playdeadlock.com/thr...ten-and-now-getting-banned-for-leaving.23117/
This thread has all that my friend's tried as well as other information since it seems to be a Source 2 thing if people are getting it in CS2 and Dota
He tried all the fixes even changing his RAM clock speed.

But now he's had an entirely different error in error 126

Cant play locked out. Under-clocked my Ram and am now considering CPU clock also to play this forsaken game.... Been getting it since day one and always found a work-around but no longer. Valve heed our call!

If anyone is using AMD graphics cards, I have moved to the "professional" driver instead of the regular one, which is traditionally more stable. Since this I haven't had a crash.

I also tried updating to professional, but then immediately got the issue the next day.

I lowered the speed of my ram to 4400 hz and that seemed to delay the issue from recurring, but ultimately it happened again today.

Can we get a workaround to be able to redownload the file in time for us to rejoin our games?
