But it doesn't remove the flying buff, it removes the attack buff. She keeps flying which she shouldn't.

It's not buff, that long lasting skill. Curse can interrupt this skill

That doesn't track for me. GT's skill is basically the same, excluding the difference in movement, and it gets interrupted.
