Can't play constant crashing during tutorial section and picking a hero

I also have this issue

got this output from my terminal on crash:
GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: 19:17:22.583: g_object_unref: assertion 'G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed

After restarting and picking a hero for the fourth time, it finally didn't crash.

I am still having this issue I can provide logs if needed, just tell me which logs you need.
I am able to play if I boot into windows 10 but not when I am on Ubuntu(23.10)

Upgrading to 24.04LTS was able to fix my skill issue thanks

Happened again. I haven't played since the other day and I just go to the Hero sandbox, pick a hero and then it crashes with no error.

**Edit 1** I started the game up a second time, did the same thing, and it worked now.

**Edit 2** I feel like it might be related, but a similar thing has been happening in Dota for me.
