It might be cause im in the uae rn but when i join people who live in EU the bug doesnt even exist. but we cant change servers so theres no fix sadly

Yes EU ping in UAE is alright but if the game gives you Asia server it might be an issue because for some reason past few months UAE internet is having issues routing to Asia Servers outside of UAE, for eg I used to get 50 ms for India servers now its like 150 +

Same problem for me also but I get the same issue when I play with people who live in the EU

Is this specific to UAE ? I think this is a problem with UAE internet, because many UAE players having this issue also ping from Dubai to servers outside uae is very high past few weeks so maybe the Du and e& are having routing issues

I also live in the UAE. But for now, after using the fix, its not come back. But I know it will some day. It evolves.

Was the fix the ethernet power thing or the restarting of the game. As I have done the restarting of the game but it doesnt work for me

I FOUND THE FIX-

Watch this video and download the link provided. Block all the servers then unblock the eu servers such as amsterdam,london, paris (make sure your deadlock isnt running) and then once you do that enter deadlock then clock f7 on your keyboard and type in 'citadel_region_override 1' and the bug should be fixed. Just make sure your do this everytime you booth the game and the bug hasnt happened to me once since I've done this. It has worked for my friends and I and I hope it works for y'all!

you can try the cs2 server picker but thats not gonna help w this issue I think its an ISP issue honestly.

I dont know if this helps valve but I've notice the connection manager at the steam status website for the UAE servers at 0% for quiet a few days now. This may be the reason why it doesnt work out? I am not informed enough but its something I've noticed.

yea we also used to play sg servers c thats what people in the uae play in for some reason
