Hello! I played one game of Deadlock in 2024 where I lost horribly. Came back on after about a year and a half away from the game yesterday and after playing a few games that felt WAY too hard for me, checked my rank. Archon II- after a nasty string of losses I've moved down to Archon I (hooray!) but a win keeps me in Archon even after I've gone like 1-11.
At the time of this writing I have 27 games played, 10 of which are wins. I have gone EXTREMELY negative in well over half of the games I've played- in part because I'm just learning a new game but in part because I have under 20 hours at the time of writing and am regularly put both with and against players with hundreds, if not thousands of hours.
Having me in their game is only ruining their experience as they are matched with a player who is still learning the basics of the game in a lobby with an average skill far above where I should be but is also really hindering my ability to learn the game! Surely this is a matchmaking/rank assignment bug because there is absolutely NO way I deserve to be in these lobbies?
