why is there no report column/thread I just had a game where this Infernus had a 65% accuracy & 35% HS accuracy and where tf am i supposed to report him other than in game

agree. it would help the devs find cheaters rather than sifting through the 1000s of rage reports people make

Reporting in game is the best way to call attention to misbehaving players.
The reason is that it creates a record connecting the report with a ton of relevant data such as the account and game demo. If the account has a history of cheating reports, they can automatically run analytical tools to detect cheating or flag the game for manual review.
If they wanted the get the same kinds of connections via reports in the forums, they would need to have someone look at the report and cross reference the match ID with the player history. If it takes just a few minutes, that quickly adds up to hours and days of lost time given the thousands of reports that are created each day. Even if they created a specific form that handled that validation automatically, it wouldn't be any better than an in game report.

holy yap bro if someone deadass wants to go through the process of manually reporting someone i think there's a higher chance that whatever player is getting reported will be handled appropriately & swiftly theres a reason why you can send in a ticket to report someone on Riot games and DL should definitely take note of that

Riot games added in-game reports to their games in January this year. Their support site even explicitly states that in-game reports are the fastest way to address bad behavior. The following is at the bottom of the "Reporting a Player" section.

firs of all in game reports were in all riot titles from the start.
Through 10+ years of me playing league a player that is insanely toxic will never get banned unless u make a support ticket.
Everytime i see a guy who should genuinely get permamently hardware banned i add their profile to my bookmarks and check every few games to see if they get any punishment after reporting them in game in 90% of the situatuions they never get even a 1 day ban or a chat restrict.
If u make a ticket they will actually get banned usually its just a 2 week warnning ban where riot tells u one more time u do this and ur not coming back.
The problem is in game report tools are full automated and never checked on by a human.
I see people with having extremly racist homophobic names but they just added one single special character in there and the in game report tool never catches it only support tickets do.
It is the same problem literally in every single game i played.
Nowadays we got some crazy AI it just takes effort to implement it correctly.
In valorant u can just say one slur and one report from a teamamate grants you a voice chat ban which makes u unable to queue ranked also for the duration.
How?
Voice chat is recorded and if ur reported AI tool just checks what KEYWORDS u used.
Someplayers even asked riot support what did they get banned for and the support response is a mp3 file with 30 second cutout from the match voice chat where words were being said.
