Ever wanted an amazing play, or a really hilarious moment to be retold in a more cinematic fashion?

My name is Nawe and I have been honing my skills in Deadlocks replay system creating short cinematics using gameplay only, bringing the clips to life with voice lines and more!

I am have just been seriously enjoying telling silly and interesting stories with my gameplay because Deadlock is already so rich in its environment and storytelling. BUT! my current videos require me to really have to emphasize my more mundane plays because im not so great at Deadlock.

This is why I wanted to open submissions to everyone to have a chance of bringing something they witnessed or did in deadlock to life through editing!

Wait, oh my god. IT'S YOU! Yeah, your videos are neat! Actually, let me submit several moments for you. I'm in Oracle 6/Phantom 1 lobbies, so it's certainly high elo (even eternus players would agree that is the start of high elo transition).

The theme is about stacked odds, sacrifice, the power of friendship and rewriting fate.

43:45 - They have triple rejuv, sieging at late game. Seven pops unstoppable and ults to force us to flee. Swallowed the paige ult and knockdown (why would she try it???). Lash ult into double kill, killing 2 big targets. Graves smashed by Lash. It looks incredibly bad, especially in high elo where players can counter. Remember, 3 free revives, sieging.

Celeste, my duo, tries to back door. However, Venator and Drifter shreds her. Rejuv gets popped by Viscous, still full team of 2 rejuv vs just spawning team, on final patron. They have to push all waves and win that way.

45:30, with the hurt of seeing my duo perish, I decide to take matters into my own hands. Could use the voice line of "I can't let you stop us."

I was thinking for the moments leading up to it, it plays this song.

Dynamo/Quotes

List of voice lines for Dynamo, voiced by John Patrick Lowrie, as well as lines from other characters referencing Dynamo.

And at 45:30, sync it up about lyrics of breaking down, "falling on the floor", etc, and as the drums on the song at 1:44 kicks in, have Dynamo (me) fly right down and cast a 4 man ultimate. Slow motion of Dynamo ulting, of course, zooming up to my team using abilities, fluctating the speed as it comes out my teammates abilities. The voiceline that would go best is "You are not winning this!" and "This isn't the end!".

Then the music fades, and Dynamo proceeds to get sentimental, having a voice line saying "My friends don't appreciate being dragged around by you.", and single ults again on Drifter. Dynamo could say "Now!" as the music goes back with full intensity in the 2nd chorus (4:20). Then it could go slow mo again, as the sound muffles and the music soften as he says "So this is what it feels like!".

You can use a refresher voiceline saying "One more time!"

Then as I clear the waves and go after Drifter, it can go into text mode as Dynamo refuses to lose (as that what I was thinking at that time), I was thinking it cuts to a cinematic shot as Dynamo says he's sorry.

Thankye kind stranger. It is the pilot so got plenty of time as I wasn’t expecting to have loads of submissions yet.

I was hoping by posting this people would just keep it in mind for the next time something happens and then it’s as simple as remembering when and the MATCH ID and I’ll do the rest!

So the only thing I would say is I would have loved that clip during the time of the April Fools thing really sorry my friend, im looking for things in i guess 'vanilla' deadlock right this moment.
