I'm starting to suspect they kinda gave up on hero labs. Look at what they did with Calico. She was absolutely nothing like she was in Hero Labs. I think she was brought over from the smaller test group.

It's more likely we're going to get a bunch of heroes at once this time, including those in hero labs and not in hero labs, probably with a closure of hero labs or placement of far more in-progress heroes.

But IMO it's kinda clear it's no longer an actively dynamic testing grounds plus barely anyone uses it from the normal testing group. Most of the hero brainstorm testing is probably done by the smaller group now.

I made that post ages ago, not even a month after hero labs was added to the game. Labs does seem to be pretty much dead now. Kind of a bummer.
