In the most recent build (#5839) it seems that items and abilities related to "throwing" are generally non-functional. That being said this does not effect all abilities or items.
Broken Abilities:
1. Paige "Conjure Dragon" (seems to be missing entirely)
2. Ivy "Kudzu Bomb" (cannot target)
3. Kelvin "Frost Grenade" (cannot target)
4. Paige "Conjure Dragon" (seems to be missing entirely)
5. Paradox "Pulse Grenade" (cannot target)
6. Vindicta "Stake" (cannot target) as well as Vindicta "Crow Familiar" (seems to be missing entirely)

1. "Alchemical Fire" (cannot target)
Interesting some abilities and items that use a throwing mechanic (i.e., Viscous "Splatter" and "Vortex Web") are still functional.
I have attached a screenshot to give an example of what I mean by "cannot target."
