In the interface where you choose a skill to be enhanced by an item (for example, compress cooldown, duration extender, quicksilver reload), pressing the HUD detail view or extra info key (or pressing both keys at the same time) will cause the HUD detail view to remain on the screen permanently.
In the character selection screen, hold the HUD detail view or extra info key (or both keys at the same time) while selecting a character, and the HUD detail view will remain on the screen. However, there may be exceptions. For example, when I use the Microsoft Pinyin Simplified Chinese input method in Chinese mode, the HUD detail view or extra info key bound to letter keys or the (`~) key does not trigger. I don’t know what happens with other input methods.
