[BUG / Exploit / Grief] Teleport into an inescapable room (softlock) → forced leave penalty

Game: Deadlock (Early Build #6232)
Match ID: 55238015

Location: Area near the “THEATER” sign (screens attached)


Summary​


In this match, a player wolfgang mozzzart (shown on the screenshots) abused a bug/exploit to teleport us into a closed room/shaft with NO possible exit.


  • There is no way out (no doors, no valid path).
  • The game has no suicide / respawn option to reset position.
  • Reconnecting did not help — after reconnecting, we were still stuck in the same room.
  • The only way to continue was to leave the match and take a penalty.

This looks like intentional griefing via exploit: trapping players until they quit.


Expected behavior​


  • Any teleport / forced movement should validate destination (navmesh / reachable area) and never place players into an enclosed, unreachable space.
  • Add a failsafe (auto-unstuck): if a player is stuck in an invalid/unreachable area for N seconds, move them to the nearest valid position / spawn.

Actual behavior​


  • Permanent softlock: cannot escape, reconnect doesn’t fix it, only option is leaving with penalty.

from what i remember, you can actually open the console with F7 and type kill to respawn at base, so it's not completely unescapable, but it did really suck that happened.
