Black Screen full system crash during laning

I've seen multiple threads about black screen crashes but the one I get is quite different since it is ALWAYS during the first couple minutes of the game. I'm certain i've never had it later than laning phase but it's more like 1-2 minutes after match start usually. It's a full system crash where I still have audio but everything else is unresponsive, my screens are black and refreshing gpu with win + shift + B does nothing, I have to restart every time. This has happened to me about 1/3 of every match i've played for the past 100 matches or so.

I will never crash more than once in a game
if I crash, it will be very early
when I crash ONLY a full restart will fix it
i've never crashed two games in a row

Thread 'hard crash - no apparent cause'

running rtx 3070 ryzen 5600x 16GB ddr3 ram windows 10

game hard crashed windows in the middle of laning and had to hard shutdown the PC to recover. After boot I was able to rejoin and play as normal.

the screen went black and was unresponsive. It had a single blinking cursor in the top left as if it was a console window. However it took no input from keyboard. Never seen this crash behavior before.

It happens randomly when playing Deadlock, after a random period of time (but within 10 minutes) the screen will go black, I can't alt-tab, my computer becomes unresponsive and I have to hard reset. Everything is updated software wise, and no other game causes this to happen. I can't even complete a bot match without the crash happening.

Is this happening to anyone else? 3090ti, 5950x, 64g ram, liquid cooled. No heat problems.
