Billy - Bashdown ends mid air if charged from high up

Bashdown ends mid air, before it hits the ground, if charged and it falls for long enough.
This video demonstrates using it normally (no charge) then charging it by holding down the button.

Was going to post, I noticed this too. At first I thought it was getting caught on the zipline, but seems to be anywhere in midair
