This happened a few times in the match I just played, and I checked the POV of the Bebop at the time I took damage.
Basically, there's an odd interaction where if Bebop uppercuts a trooper that has a lil' helper on it, Rem will take the uppercut damage even if he's not anywhere nearby. It happened a few times during the match, so I think you can replicate the bug.
