The patch this morning/evening (11/7/24 for U.S) has meant that bebop gains 2% per bomb attachment on the tooltip every single time, and the damage appears to follow this 2% increase, INSTEAD of the 1.5% change today.
Furthermore, the ability no longer shows the true damage of the spell as it no longer accounts for the damage amplification from the stacks. This will cause confusion to both the Bebop player as well as the opponent who can no longer calculate the damage.
Having no items the base damage is 120. Each bomb adding 1.5% damage increase should increase the damage of the bomb by 1.8. Currently the damage scales as follows:
120 (0 bombs) --> 122 (1 bomb)--> 125(2 bombs) --> 127 --> 130 etc.
This awkward and unknown scaling becomes more ridiculous and unfair to players as the damage increases.
- at +50 bombs stacks with 40 spirit power the tooltip says 248 damage (with talent). The bomb itself does 372 damage.
- at +50 bombs stacks with 121 spirit power the tooltip shows 345 damage. The bomb itself does 524. (This is also still a mistake as 345 x 50% damage amp should be 517.5 damage)
- at +100 bomb stacks with 121 spirit power the tooltip shows 345 damage. The bomb itself does does 690.
TLDR:
- Fix the bomb scaling to either be 1.5% or release a patch specifying it is actually 2.0%
- Show the amplified damage numbers on the spell when gaining bomb stacks.
