Bad Matchmaking Thread

I would like to report Vindicta and Seven for griefing and toxic behavior in this match. Despite Vindicta having a high kill count, both players intentionally threw the game by feeding repeatedly before the 15-minute mark. To make matters worse, Seven was being toxic in all-chat, taunting the enemy team with 'ez game play.' After that, both of them abandoned the match—Vindicta first, then Seven—leaving the remaining 4 of us to play a 4v6. Even after they left, Dynamo from the enemy team continued to harass and be toxic towards us. It feels incredibly unfair to lose a game where the 4 of us almost managed to beat the entire enemy team despite being two players down.

Report for Vindicta and Seven for intentional feeding and abandoning. They started throwing before 15 mins. Seven was toxic, typing 'ez game play' to the enemies, then both of them rage-quit, leaving us in a 4v6 situation. On top of that, the enemy Dynamo wouldn't stop being toxic even when we were struggling to 4v6. We almost won with just 4 people, so losing like this because of these trash players feels extremely unfair.

  • 78482227 mina feeding, dynamo and mo start being afk since minute 5, dynamo starts griefing the rest of the team
  • 78502147 silver and infernus throwing, running into the enemy and feeding them
all of these matches happened IN A ROW, in ascendant (EU)
i will be quitting the game until you sort out the matchmaking.
i expect none of the people actually griefing to get banned, and if they do, theres no system to compensate for the elo lost.

Enemy team having multiple heroes considered overpowered and great synergy to contest mid etc (Venator, Kelvin, Silver...) while our team was mostly a mismatch of things and people being tilted. Not fun.

Billy wasn't doing too great and the enemy team just had an all-around better comp for mid fights. Not only that, nobody used comms so it was a pretty one-sided match for them.

Felt like the match was just so disorganized. Nobody listening to comms, nobody being able to do anything. Mina was probably the only one performing alright and the rest felt like they were lagging behind.

Their Talon decided to just grief the match by running in to due multiple times in a row. Didn't play at all, similar to the Yamato earlier. Only won because of that.

First of all, I know I’m bad at this game :)
However, I just wanted to see if anyone else is going through the same thing.
On a typical day, this is what my scoreboard looks like:

BUT the moment I hit Archon 1, my scoreboard becomes like this:

It didn’t happen once, twice, or even three times—it has been like this throughout 2025 up until now. I’ve hit Archon and even reached Oracle 1 many many times, but the moment I step into those games, at least two people on my team go 2–11.

If I’m playing against a Lash, I can’t even get close to a walker, but if I have a Lash on my team, I don’t have any walker before minute 15—those kinds of scenarios.

It really feels like the moment I start winning some games, some kind of algorithm (like a smurf-prevention logic) kicks in on my account, and I end up with at least 2–3 people on my team who have grieved their past 10 games (i.e.: averaging 2/10/1 K/D, 12K hero damage, and 2K objective damage in a 35-ish min games).

I’m a software engineer, so I know it would be very easy to implement something like this—but I’m struggling to understand why.
