It’s unbelievable that matches like this are even allowed to happen. The skill gap between players is massive—anyone can watch the replay and immediately see how unfair this game was.
I also need to point out, once again, how bad the character selection system is. How is it possible that in a match already heavily unbalanced in terms of MMR, I get one of my worst characters—and on top of that, one that isn’t even designed to deal damage?
We didn’t have a single player capable of making an impact. It didn’t matter that I built correctly for the match—I was the only one trying to counter the enemy with items, and it’s obvious that one player alone can’t counter an entire team.
Meanwhile, my teammates clearly didn’t understand basic positioning. And honestly, that’s not even their fault—it’s the game’s fault for putting players into matches that are this uneven in the first place.

Like what's the point if every second game is like this?
Edit: Added another pic from statlocker. Like why is this smurf in this lobby. Also why did you disable so that we cannot see if someone is in a party or not. I am 99% sure someone was in a party with Paradox to lower the overall rating of their search.

It’s unbelievable that for every decent match in this game, you get two terrible ones. You only need to look at one team’s builds to realize how unbalanced the game was.
On top of that, my team literally stood still and did nothing after the enemy secured mid boss—and of course, there’s no punishment for that. It’s not just that they can’t handle their lanes; they go as far as outright trolling.
I constantly get matches like this when I play Paradox, because the system treats hero-specific MMR as a key factor for matchmaking. Even worse, you don’t get to properly choose your hero each game—it’s assigned randomly.
It’s frustrating to feel forced to limit the characters I play just because the matchmaking system is so bad, both in terms of teammates and hero distribution. I still did my best, but the result is always the same: teammates who are not only worse than the enemy team, but who actively sabotage the match.

You are part of the problem.
Why do you think matchmaker sucks ? because the entire dataset is poisoned by smurfs, cheaters and mod users (bright contrast hp bars can immediatelly give away someones position and prey-status at least 30% better)
All current data is poison, and I heard rumours that there is a separate client for a closed group of players/testers and valve mostly just looks at data that gets generated from them. And is actually kinda smart because two separate datasets (one guaranteed to be clean and one poisoned) can be used to train AI to detect cheats.
The public space by this point is just data harvesting from cheaters==smurfs (which is a good thing too).

idk i just unistal the game the matchmaking is horrible and the loser queue make you want to kill people irl... the game is good overall but damn he has very big default that's idk why people is happy about the game, the game is mid not better than lol is they think that will be the lol killer

Not only was it a complete steamroll from the enemy team, it seems like our Rem is actually someone who's in Oracle. Why is an Oracle player in an Eternus II lobby? Was it someone who queued up with them? Was it someone who was just unlucky with matchmaking? Either way, it was VERY clear they were not at all on Eternus level in terms of gamesense or anything, and it's beyond frustrating when they were misplaying all the damn time.
The game could have been winnable, but it just felt like it wasn't when they caused the enemy players to get multiple solo kills from them, alongside two walkers and multiple urns.
Again, I'd wait an hour to just get a game full of people with similar level knowledge to the game as I have, because it's beyond frustrating to get placed with people who clearly are not capable of performing in the higher levels where the divisions do matter a lot.

First off, draft difference. Enemy having multiple S-tier heroes who's super strong, if not overpowered (CELESTE!, Apollo, Venator, Lady Geist, Kelvin) while our team had no overpowered heroes. We only had infernus who could be a late-game carry, but even then it wasn't at al.
Secondly, an Ascendant 5 lobby? What in the actual hell, respectfully? Just yesterday I hit Eternus 4 - followed by insanely crazy stompy losing spree which doesn't even feel fun - which is almost a WHOLE division higher than this. I think MM has some major issues at the moment, like genuinely pleaase - I'd wait an HOUR to get proper games instead of this garbage.
Thirdly, I think two of the hard carries were smurfs. Doesn't feel fair at ALL to play the game when your team has multiple people who struggles and they just steamroll you.

How the hell am I put in Ascendant 4 lobbies??? This feels so weird, genuinely. It feels not only blatantly unfair for me to be put in these lobbies because it's akin to smurfing, but it's also just beyond frustrating when your team is seriously under performing and not at all listening to any calls or using comms. How is this fair on any level for anyone involved?
PLEASE, I beg you devs, I'd rather take a 50min queue over this, any day. I want a fair and balanced game, not suddenly be put in lobbies like this. First it's "Oh yeah have an ascendant lobby" and then "Oh yeah have a high Eternus lobby". Please, I just want consistency and not utter stomps all the damn time.

Another damn stomp. Not only did our Mo & Krill not perform up to par, it was just a complete steamroll from them from the start. NO amount of trying to be a support changed the outcome of this game, as nobody listened to comms and ran in to die alone among other things. AND also an ascendant V lobby? This is just a joke at this point and I hope you all actually would change something in MM so that it's better quality matches than this.
I'm on a losing spree of 8 at the moment - all of the games I've posted here, because they've been so unbelieveably garbage, so I'm understandably pissed.
