Out of the blue, over the last 2 days, I went from getting regularly useful teammates in my rank (oracle), to just consistently getting people 2 ranks below me, and its consistently people who are much worse than the people I was getting two days ago consistently. I went from a very stable above %50 winrate to barely %30 over the last 2 days.

Frequent stuttering in game didn't help but I was playing with 4 friends here. Out team ranking was apparently archon 5 and the enemies archon 6 but the match sort've just felt hopeless. Every lane was losing, I even swapped with a friend to try to help a different lane. The enemies felt like they just deathballed all over the map and we couldn't do anything about it. We did have 1 newer player to the game but it wasn't just because of that, it just felt sort've doomed from the very beginning, doorman and rem constantly just being able to walk into our jungle and take all the sinners for free, we couldn't even punish the rem for it because we didn't have enough damage to kill him because we were so behind.

I just want to say how badly items sometimes and letting low rank players get better items.. its kinda boring if they want you to intentionally lose.

Had an atrocious losing streak today after winning the majority of my games for the past 3 days.
72103727 - 4 teammates genuinely struggled with macro. One teammate was stoned during the game and just kept running in to die.
72111700 - Similar macro struggle, my teammates would farm camps right next to a walker as it was getting pushed in by troopers.
72126504 - The Apollo I laned with would go in with half HP against full HP enemies
72144204 - The worst game I had today, we were 0-15 kills by 12 mins. I asked what rank everyone was and the answers I got were Ascendent 1-2, but I'm Ascendent 5 (or was, before this losing streak)
72158365 - 2 teammates who just didn't know what any calls mean. I told them to catch waves and they didn't know what that meant. Same with terms like "macro" and "priority"
I know that matchmaking isn't always fair but I genuinely had no agency in these games. More often than not my teammates played like they were still learning the game, while my enemies were playing at my level.
It genuinely seemed like the matchmaking queued me up with players at the lower end of Ascendent, and expected me to carry them.

72174660 this is after a 5 game loss streak. I'm the only decent player on the team and the game kill whys goes 51 to 12. the average rank for both teams are Ritualist 4 while I was emissary 5. I just have not been understanding the matchmaking at all the skill rating says on the three heros I play Im above the skill of my rank but keeps putting me with players who just hard feed the whole game while I'm the only one who can mange to get key player on my team. I will list the previous matches of this lose streak.

Every Valve game is like this unfortunately. They can afford to have proper anti-cheat and smurf detection with punishment but they don't because they do not care.
Valve has been hands off in every game they've ever made in the past 20+ years. Deadlock will be filled with smurfs/cheaters/bots/griefers just like every other Valve game.

They do ban waves in dota, though.
I recall that frostivus where they sent out coal as a memento after banning people for smurfing.

Either a 4 or 6 stack. Coordinated ganks mid. Rotations. Everything. I can't check to be 100% sure because you disabled that option on all the stat trackers. Strict solo queue when?
Also looks like the Celeste is a smurf and/or is playing with boosters or other smurfs.

Mason has been banned many times. But he's still playing dota. Valve doesn't give a fuck my man. Cheaters and smurfs just make new accounts and go again and Valve lets them.

Both teams labelled as oracle 1 but it didn't feel like it at all. I was already struggling due to a terrible lane and could not take advantage of any comeback mechanics without the support of my team. Only my Vyper was sort of on top of things. The rest of the team flat out ignored waves that were nearby or even that they were directly on top of. The enemy team were extremely coordinated and roamed in groups to gank and at no point did my team respond to my pings to push open lanes. None of the rest of my team had counter items, but some of the enemy team did.
I don't think this percentage based rank system is working when people who are unaware of the most fundamental part of macro are put into an oracle game.

I feel like the matchmaking's worst problem is the character distribution per team. All their characters have a favorable matchmaking to ours. The only exception are Paradox and The Nutty Professor.
