Teammates were very new and or actively throwing the match. Rem was just a toxic person that mocked me for the rest of the game when I asked why the weren't playing with the team and rather were in enemy jungle dying in the middle of team fights.. Billy on our team also seemed to not know what he was doing.. Oracle 3 match, how are we still getting people that actively hate on people that try to communicate in a team game...

Seven is a smurf. Plays with way lower people to abuse the matchmaking. We won the game because we locked in but still. It's a clear smurf.

I completely understand. Just had 2 games with leavers in succession, then lost 2 more because people throw their lanes completely and then run around stealing farm and dying in enemy jungle. I literally had a game where Abrams was pushing base guardians alone while the rest of the team was on the last walker without picks or rejuv. Safe to say we got completely ran over and the guy acted like he was in the right.
Im phantom 3 and you'd expect people to not be completely clueless, but that doesn't seem to be the case at all.
Hopefully they have an actual working matchmaker for live release or either placements or complete rank resets seasonally, because at the moment it's like playing russian roulette on weekends.

Graves also somehow way worse than all the graves i play against who are oppressive and just spam ult in lanes
He barely used his ult and wasnt effective at all. My team sat in jungle most of the game. How is the matchmaking so garabge? Their team just controlled the map and punished anyone who showed in a lane because I have low skill MOBA players who dont know how to have impact
Early to mid game I got ran down by 3-4 heroes everytime i tried to enter a lane because my whole team just sitting in jungle. These players dont understand any MOBA strategy. Split pushing, creating space, objectives

Its weird cause i hopped on street brawl since the matchmaking is so bad, but street brawl is the same 10 mcginnis and infernus, theres like nothing fun except for the rare evenly matched game you get now and then in standards.

Another game where i dominate lane, but then my team completely feeds the enemy, making them not only unkillable (Mo with one million HP), but they also begin melting us whenever we fight so we can't even farm to properly buy counter items (Talon & Seven went on uncontested because i was one of the only two people who bought Knockdown).
It's genuinely so miserable playing these matches, knowing it's not your fault at all that you lost.
Pocket and Wraith both only had 9 games.
Why are they in matches with people with hundreds of games?
Yesterday i made this post, and only 2 standard matches later i get yet another horrible game. The game before that ALSO was something in this vein. One game before that, same deal. The one before that also. And the previous. And the next previous too. And the next previous as well.
Looking at my game history now (for standard matches), the frequency of games with bad matchmaking i get is so high that it probably goes over 50%. Genuinely how is this possible?
This is, and i say this unironically, actually borderline unplayable.
In the rare event that a developer responsible for maintaining these 2 systems actually looks in this thread, i will reiterate that i know this kind of software development is really hard due to a lot of unknown factors, but it's actually awe-inducing at how bad this matchmaking (and subsequently player elo ranking) is. It's a fun game, so i hope these issues will be addressed sooner than later. I know the game is in open alpha but it feels very weird that this massive glaring problem everyone and their mom complains about has not been addressed in so long

So a few min ago I attempted to join a match but there was a glitch and it said I was unable to join and sent me to lobby. I then tried to join a new match but it was saying I was attemping to abandon match. I tried to rejoin and I still was unable to get into a game, so I had no choice but to abandon. Then I get this error message saying I am on a temporary ban as a punishment for abandoning. wtf

Immense team diff. Ivy was playing "support" vs. a proper Kelvin support. Abrams and Holiday didn't do much at all.
