We won but the Holliday was an incredibly obvious smurf. Constantly hitting headshots, doing optimal combos, etc. while the rest of his team played poorly. Playing on an alt account where the only played game is Deadlock and its friends with a main account that has played a ton of different games.

1 - Average rank was Ritualist 6 on my team, opponent's team were Emissary 3. Teammates and enemy skill gaps felt all over the place.
2 - Wraith and Haze completely stomped teammates - one stated they were in Archon but the team's average rank was Ritualist 6. Haze and Wraith most likely were in Archon, while multiple teammates stated they were in emissary.

I’m not sure whether this is intentional or not, but at this point it feels obvious to me that the system deliberately switches you between good and bad matchmaking pools — or maybe it cycles between selecting weaker players either for your team or against you. I’m constantly stuck in either a long win streak or a longer losing streak, rarely different thing in between, down already from Archon IV to Emis. IV!!! in a week or so...some of my games similar to this one i have already posted in my previous comment...

I literally walked around the map the entire match. I didn’t hit a single enemy, didn’t push lanes, didn’t take objectives, didn’t buy any of my items, and I didn’t even last-hit. And guess what:

By the end of the game, look at my net worth. It was actually higher than green players. I mean i could just get bots that avoid fights and last hits and the outcome would be the same, how matchmaker can fail so HARD!!! not once not twice but many many many times IN A ROW!!!

How is anyone supposed to win with teammates like this? And I’m getting 3–4 games like this in a row — sometimes even 7–8 back-to-back!!!

You may say that this happened because my team was 5 vs 6, true! but, what if i tell you that my green lane was already 1-7 by min 10 or 12 without anyone from our or enemy team rotating to their lane!!!

Anyway I’m done. This isn’t healthy, speculation is all i can do which is really a waste of my time...
I’m glad I stopped spending a single dime on this sadistic company. If I’m right about what’s going on, I really do hope karma eventually catches up with them.

i had 20 games in a row like this lol. Was playing the best deadlock ive ever played.. carrying games. then all of a sudden theres 2 or more 0-12 players on my team, smurfs, quitters, afkers. something to make it feel impossible to win! literally 20 games in a row this happend. And its demoralizing as hell man. Ive actually started playing worse because why am i going to put in full effort when the game is over in under 10 mintues. Its messed up. I get what your saying it almost feels like They force loses on you with the MM.. Huge win streaks or forced loses. I dont get it. ive been grinding ritualisst for a month and was almost at emissary and then all of a sudden this 20 game bs came on and almost knocked me out of Ritualist. its literally impossible to rank up when youre solo qued unless your dropping 25+ kills every game.
