I've had multiple games like this where we have some dudes who probably picked up the game today and somehow get thrown into these lobbies. FFS fix whatever stupid braindead algorithm you have going on there because why does this keep on fucking happening? I don't want to play with people who started yesterday and don't know shit. It's not enjoyable for anyone. Please for the love of god do something. I can't even play heroes I want test out because I feel punished for wanting to fucking learn a new hero.

The last 2 days has been all losing, either the teams are stacked beyond imagination with one side being oblivious while the other side is all super high rank, or its lobbies with cheaters or leavers. 9 times out of 10, its just the match maker stacking the lobbies.

After losing 5 games in a row, i switched my characters thinking maybe something was up with that, nope, lobbies just got worse. Im now at an 11 game losing streak. time to put this piece of shit away. Devs should be ashamed of themselves, alpha/beta or not, this is absolutely terrible. Valve should be ashamed for allowing this game to even be privately playable, absolute joke of a dev team.

Yup. These devs are fucking idiots. I don't think it's a smurf problem anymore. Their shitty backend formula just keeps fucking up. And they have the audacity to work on an ARAM mode before touching their retarded matchmaker even with everyone yelling at them for months on end. It's like they forgot what they learned from Dota 2. Did they fucking reset their brains as well?

Of the 1300 hours ive put into this "playtest", maybe 65-70% of it has been carrying or losing matches like this with a team of people who have 0 clue what they are doing or what to do when given an opportunity to take a walker or take midboss. You would think the giant circle in the bottom right of the screen, plus voice/text chat, plus the ability to ping damn near everything in the game would get through their thick fucking skulls but apparently not. And on top of all of this? this "playtest" is no longer playtesting stuff in the "public" branch (ie us the majority playerbase) and instead is doing private testing with high rank players that give biased feedback. Not to mention that it is impossible to climb a decent amount as a solo player. How many eternus, accendant players have been hard carried by party matchmaking which apparently gives more rank gain for wins to lower ranked players which just winches them up the ladder for free.

Either seperate the queues and and set it up so everyone is forced to see their rank change after the match by having that option turned on by default with the inability to turn it off, or better yet shut this "playtest" down for a year and actually work on the game. if this is how this game is going to continue to go then i guess ill wait until it launches, and id bet good money that this is probably 3-4 years away from beingf release knowing valve. apparently whether its TF2, Dota2, CS2, the devs cant make a good matchmaker at all. i know its a ""playtest"" but that isnt an excuse. dropping from oracle 5 to archon 5 in 2 days with teams like this is absolutley without a doubt the dumbest shit ever.

(and if anyone watches this match, i have no shame in being an asshole to the 2 russians (the mina and infernus) that ive played with multiple times in the past that have either griefed or rage-quit)

No clue what you did with the matchmaking in this patch. The game was fine before it and matches was actually close. Now it's the worst it's ever been.

Holiday ints and both Geist and Seven was watching whenever I tried to help them take a fight.

I didn't get to play the game at any point because the Victor I got in lane first played more passive than a toddler, then proceeded to steal all jungle camps and leave the lane when I go monster hunter.

Why have a rank in the game at all if you are just going to ignore it anyway?

Worst part is that this is the third time it happened. Getting team mates that CLEARLY aren't supposed to be in the match rank and almost actively throws.

Actually got back to some decent games, but I'm just done after this one.

Lol. This matchmaking algorithm is from dota im sure. I have 10k hours in that so i can compare. IceFrog (dota 2 lead developer) come to deadlock in september 2024, and then new matchmaking come out.

But the sad thing, you can't change anything. Pro players don't care (too high elo to feel this system), and low elo players have no influence to change anything. It's a dead loop.

I think the only chance is to bombard Discord and don't play a game, sadly...

Two games with the same Wraith, seems as if he's either smurfing or hacking. I think he was more so hacking than anything due to some really fishy calls he made about the other team being out of base when they weren't showing on map at all. The account he's using also has under 2 hours at the time I'm posting this and he has no other games with a steam account that's level 3.
