Bad Matchmaking Thread

Billy ragequit, followed by Gray Talon who also ragequit, and didn't get banned for ragequitting because game ended before the red box came up. Enemy team had Haze and Doorman who both were in Oracle+. I'm in Emissary III. Again, why am I being put in a lobby with Oracle players when I play solo? There's SO many divisions between us, they had our base before we got their damn towers. It feels so unfair, it's unreal.

My WR has stayed like this ever since I started playing a year ago. A majority, about 90% of my games boil down to this. One team is good (likely higher ranks brought into a lower rank game), one team is complete ass. It becomes obvious early on who is going to win. It is as if MM is engineering wins and losses, they don't feel earned. Only a handful do, a small number are actual matches where it's anyone's game, those are fun. It's as if EOMM is being used. Practically all my losses come down to my team dying all around me while I feverishly fight. I have seen numerous examples of high ranks and low ranks being put in game via Tracklock. What the hell? "These people need some wins, let's throw them against low ranks" "They are winning too much, let's put them against higher ranks who need the easy win." Utterly embarrassing, and it has not changed one bit over this past year.

well put. if this isn't something i've seen in excess myself and around me lately, i haven't been playing deadlock the videogame.

why did the devs remove the "how fun was this hero, how fun was this match" systems?? perhaps they were never useful info, as seen in the useless post match thing in tf2 that never did anything.

You know what else is really fun, when you get 3-4 feeders, like 1-10 or 0-15 on your team, every.single.fucking.game... deadlock devs are the dumbest people on earth, at this point nothing could convince me otherwise.

Stop pairing me with people who insist on dying in the double digits. I am not intellectually challenged dont pair me with people who are.

I cant support a team with heals (which I want to do) if they cant make common sense decisions to keep themselves alive or fight as a team.

Go out - get picked - repeat.

No matchmaking means devs dont give a fuck. Every match is a literal crapshoot.

Its really easy to filter out the good players from the bad players (in low ranks) .

This matchmaking is so horrendous at least add a surrender option temporarily.

This is just atrocious to deal with when I have 2 to 3 teammates that have no kills and double digit deaths, at least let us surrender and not waste 40 minutes of my life.

Over a week ago I was on a 14 game losing streak where almost every game was like this.

"Arcanist 4" vs "Ritualist 1"
My rank just before this game was alchemist 4... I doubt my last win managed to put me several spots higher. Ritualist team had all 3 guardians within the first 10 minutes. Not sure if it was a full 6 stack, but at least several players were queued together communicating well. No one on my team was stacked together, or communicating. Awful game and just a waste of 35 minutes for everyone.

Even though I won this match, we should not be going against Eternus players in an Oracle Lobby. I'm literally Emissary/Arcanist. Verified the rest of the players on my team, and none of them get into Eternus games regularly, so clearly, the average rank lobby per team is not accurate at all.

Their job is to collect information and tell the developers stuff. Yoshi can't magically make the devs do all of the stuff they report.

And while the game is still in EXPERIMENTAL ALPHA, we know how GamersTM are. They will treat it like they are paid pro football players.....No, football players have better sportsmanship, smurfy performance enhancement is done in that sport as well though. But I will say Valve isn't doing a good job with how the game is right now. I agree with you that there is a lot of crap that is busted, and it makes players feel awful. From characters (I don't care what the youtuber's video said), to matchmaking, to items, to players cheating, the slurs I've heard in chat, the leavers, and I've been teabagged like 90 times by now. There are GLARING issues. I heard so many people tell me that they trust Valve to do a good job while they torture players in this alpha. I always wish developers would speak on the many frustrations players deal with over a long period of time in THEIR GAME that THEY make, but they stay quiet. Even when it's Valve and they print money. I wouldn't blame the community manager for this though lol.

An experimental alpha that somehow already tried to have tournaments for Deadlock, sponsored by Valve according to Deathy? The problem isn't that Valve is taking a while to address issues. It's the fact that they don't, and it doesn't just spill over to the balance or MM. It also involves QoL issues. For example, spectating live matches will sometimes randomly disconnect you and put you into a recursive loading loop where the game just has a perpetual loading screen. I don't think they're gonna get around to fixing that for a while. Shit like that is what kills the game, but it seems like the only patches are for artwork and for balance.

teammates that don't even understand concept of defending a walker, accusing enemy vindicta of cheating instead of countering her, one of the the worst matchmaking games i had so far in 800+ hours of my gameplay, my rank fell down due to inactivity as i was high archon. Started this time from alchemist and the higher rank i get the more dumb and incompetent teammates i get.

I genuinely do not know what kind of fucking result are they expected to get from "Let's put one team with all the CC against each other" oh wow surprise you fucking lose if you have no CC on your team, or your only CC is a fucking infernus ult.

Yeap. Honestly fuck icefrog right now. No patched Mina ult for a month of nonsnse and continued neglect of matchmaking super grief. over 90% of the community is calibrated in Initiate 1 and some players are winning 20,30,40 games in a row and not raking up. Their priorities are not on player experience right now. They have zero feelings on how bad their matchmaking experience is.

Just give us fucking draft pick and un-fuck the matchmaking please. It would be nice if they gave any 2 shits about my time I decide to dedicate to playing their game..
