It's not just you. In 20 matches I have 3 wins, went down from Oracle IV to Archon IV. One match the average was that Orange rank(I went 28-0) next match I'm playing against stacked Eternus players(getting destroyed in every lane. 50k lead at 15 minutes). Along with team drafts(you have no support with only carries or you have too many support heroes and no carries). Then you have stacked lobbies and smurfs that don't help this matchmaking either. Playing a match that you know from the start you're going to loose makes you don't want to play the match, it's just a waste of time. It's not fun completely dominating the other team or being dominated

While I do not mind "tutoring" newer or otherwise less experienced players, I just really wish I'd be grouped with players who actually can be salvaged to begin with.

Sidenote:
The only reason (currently) why my Statlocker-rank is at "Performance Point (PP) debt" is due to their "Grading"-system system being extremely weighted towards last-hitting alongside other "kill-participation"-metrics, and nowadays the easily missable "Prebase Objective Damage".
Previous-version with the "KDA Ratio"-metric actually rewarded me quite well.
Hopefully in future they account rest of the objectives (Soul Urns, etc.).

@Yoshi my man, there are 36k players at this time, how do you still manage to make the algorithm make my team find ascendant star enemies. they are all AT LEAST ASCENDANT STAR against a team of average EMISSARY. ASCENDANT > PHANTOM > ORACLE > ARCHON > MY TEAM. please please please fix the matchmaking because im getting brain cancer playing these lobbies. i've been commenting here for the past 3 days dy. Make a hero where it balances the team average rank, are you able to do that? because that would be gamechanging!

ikr bro its very unlucly, @Yoshi says he takes feedback and appreciates it but doesn't acknowledges this thread? come on bro, at least update that you're tryna make the matchmaking better.

Me personally I would rather wait 10 minutes to find a decent match than be thrown in the cement mixer and hope for the best
 
Perhaps they just don't know how to do proper matchmaking?
At this point the game feels extremely exhausting no matter how hard you try.
At the end of few matches I find myself asking why I waste time on this "test', when I feel like a lab rat for sweaty stacks.
There is no sense of progress or satisfaction in finishing the match.
Not sure if these people smurf a lot or there is a circumvent method to get into low ranked lobbies, so they can trash other players.
One thing is for sure, the players base will tank after they had tasted the new characters.
Then , maybe, they will ask again, how the hell did this happen again (massive drop in playerbase in the first wave).

I have never played online game that was this horrible (except Apex at one point maybe).
What can you do to thrive the playerbase and keep people interested in the game?
More furry shit for bearded manchildren? Some anime treats for lonely teenagers?

Edit: another match: 39508726 - Seems like the Haze was either smurfing or misplaced.

At this point its painfully obvious the dev working on this game is absolutely not qualified to work on any game. Valve has been a staple for decades, and now all i hear and see is people talking about the fall of Valve because of this dev. Alpha, beta, etc.. doesnt matter, the way the match making has been handled, the cheaters, the griefers, etc.. game is dead already.

Todays suffering. Daily affirmation, you're not hard-stuck because you're bad, you're hard-stuck because they somehow conjure up the most mentally incapable teammates consistently. All three of these are back to back to back. This game will NEVER hold a player base if it continues to be this bad, why would anyone want to improve at a game where you can't actually improve the result.

I got put on haze which I don't often play and It felt like smurfing, this was not very enjoyable on my part.
Obviously this game was a stomp making it un-fun for the enemy team and my teammates
I'm not sure if this is fixable as this is SEA servers very late at night.
 
@Yoshi do you still look at this thread? 3 full ranks difference in average rank - we didn't stand a single chance. it is somehow worse than it used to be 395404661756078645837.png
