The Mirage (Indominant) died in the first 5 to 10 minutes, blamed it on our Warden and started hurling insults at him. He then proceeded to throw a temper tantrum and for the rest of the game he would go AFK for 5 minutes then run around and steal farm. The last 30 minutes of the game he didn't participate in any team fights, wouldn't push lanes and went quiet on comms.
We all reported him, but judging by the forums and Reddit posts, the reporting system seems to be for show only. People like this really ruin the game and honestly I'll never understand what compels someone to act like a man-child when one tiny little thing doesn't go there way.
The stink of it is, although we lost the match, even one man down we held in there and were neck and neck with the enemy team for the entirety of the game.
Valve, please start punishing these players that are intentionally throwing or smurfing. And for the love of all things holy please implement some kind of notification that alerts players who report these people that some kind of action has been taking. This one "simple" thing could have a major impact on the mindset of people like me who are sick and tired of getting matched up with players who punish their entire team and waste everyones time by throwing the game.
