Rumors began to circulate throughout the city of a syndicate boss
quickly taking territory and making a name for himself in the cursed apple. those who were lucky
enough to catch a glimpse of the man couldn't help but notice how freakishly small his head was compared
to his equally freakish muscular frame.

only one man has seen his face clearly, However everyone took what the clearly shaken man with clearly broken fingers
as nothing more than hysterics after a bad batch of whiskey.
the absurdity of what was being described leading to many giving this mysterious mobster a unique name.

the name "Baby-Face" became the talk of the town.

Name: Tony
age: 32
occupation: Crime Boss

brief character description:

Tonys head has been cursed to look like a baby and now is seeking the power
of the patrons to become normal again.

I actually came here specifically to say that I love how much this fits the Deadlock universe aesthetically. Can you explain what's off about it?
i know i'm not who you asked first, but i'll still add my bit to the discussion

idk about not fitting Deadlock specifically, but personally i feel like "baby themed mobster" is an archetype we've seen a few times already in modern media and i feel like this particular design doesn't bring anything new to it

there's Babyface in Batman the animated series, which basically looks like this very design

there's Franco Barbi in the Outlast for a more psycho version of this

i guess Kingpin could fall in this category, but it's more small head big body than straight up baby

and i guess Boss Baby could also fit there? it touches more the comedic side of it, but that's more a literal baby with mobster/business man esthetic than an actual mobster with baby esthetic

anyhow, i don't see how this would bring anything new to the table and help deadlock have its own original footprint, especially while sharing a name and appearance with a Batman villain

I kinda agree here. I saw this concept first on reddit and really liked it. But in hindsight I may agree here.

Granted heros like Kevlin, Mina, heck even Ambrams (blue hell boy) are not 100% unique in their own right

I think Icefrog could visually and narrativly flavor a babyface mobster to make it unique to deadlock

I mean even Mina.. japanese vampire girl with umberella?
Anyhow. I def understand both sides of the discussion here.

good debate really.
