I believe an interesting hero idea could possibly be an average city-goer.
This is more so an all-encompassing way to phrase multiple ideas. I think something like a trash man or city worker could be an interesting idea. I'm not too deep into the lore as of now, but I think it'd fit. But also I think just like any character from an average city experience would be funny. maybe even becoming a personified version of their title whilst previously holding that label, so a trash man became trash. Or even a homeless man (though that may be taken in bad taste).
Though what I think would be the most funny would be just a dude, nothing special, just a guy who's very confused and has no clue what's going on, possibly a father, maybe a divorcee (Sad, Glad, and a Dad). He could talk about how he loves his kids and hates his wife, Josephine. I'd imagine he'd have, like, a firefighter mustache and a classic dad-bod with the Hawaiian shirt and khaki shorts. I figure he'd have a midwestern accent and just constantly be confused. I don't know how powers would work for him, so maybe an eldritch monster finds him charming and gives him powers.
