Auto Denying Soul Orbs

Either Mirage/Wraith were fully cheating, or there is some massive ping disparity problems. The entire lane 'phase' felt like I was getting auto denied. My lane Bebop would have Souls go through their laser without them being captured. pre-(most recent) patch, the souls felt much snappier, and almost pre-fire-able which kind of auto compensated for any ping problems. Now it feels basically unplayable with the 'faster' lane being up an item by 5m on free denies alone.

The soul orbs pre latest patch would actually spawn/be shootable before the orb was actually visible on screen so if you prefired where it spawned as it was predictable you could get it every time before anyone saw it/had the chance to shoot at it.

Post patch that behaviour seems to have disappeared since there is now horizontal movement to the orbs it's much harder to predict/prefire I'm not sure if the orbs are still shootable before visible.

*the shootable before being visible was something I heard from a "pro" streamer and is not my own experience with any kind of testing*

There are cheats that allow instant denying. At least I've seen cheaters with such, they are hard to detect, but when every soul suddenly disappears without barely appearing, thats the one. And no, pros or no pros, you can tell the difference between a tool zapping 3 souls 140 degrees apart and a human manually shooting them.

also up on ults. And if they know how to play their characters and juggle the tower properly (which isnt hard in this game) then they are easily about to tower dive you.

Yes, what ever they did to the souls, not only can I not really deny souls, I can barely get my own. I wish they had a different denial system, like the dota one.

Or none at all and make the lanes longer (especially outside lanes), but not wider, this way you can freeze and zone more often. This is a form of denial that is used in LoL and Smite since neither has a denial system. I already do this now, force the enemy back far enough their creeps die but they are not closes enough for a soul to pop. Yea, those souls are wasted but you are still getting ahead.

But the lanes do not lend to this style of game play well. Outside ones are too short. They need to be longer. Mid lane needs to be more narrow.
