Auto abandon banned for just stopping queuing up in matchmaking?

Got banned at 4:11 am for what looks like no reason? I started and left matchmaking last night and wonder if that did something? I'd see no reason to be reported for Innappropiate behavior because I don't use vc/text chat like whatsoever.

Didn't receive a ban since re-connected on time: apparently MM search sometimes do not cancel for some reason (no check for inactivity/online/offline user?)

I queued for match, at around 2 mins of search my laptop goes off because i forgot to connect the charger -i restarted my laptop, steam and started the game (took around 4-5 mins). When i opened the game i see "match in progress" on the left - so it conitnued to search and found a match even though i was offline and if i took it slightly longer to restart the game probably it would count as abandoned from my side?
