Even after the new item update, arcane surge doesn't work for the full duration of many channeled abilities. When tested on Warden ult and Geist life drain in hero testing, arcane surge worked as intended until the Warden/Geist does almost any action that isn't moving. Dashing, shooting, jumping, crouching, activating an item, or activating an ability will immediately make arcane surge stop providing the channeled ability with extra spirit power and ability range even in the middle of the channel. The extra duration seems to be working as intended however.
