Got banned in 2024 for being in the same team (not party) as a streamer on Leash, while I was playing Gray Talon. Ban still active, want to play new patch.
Got banned in 2024 for being in the same team (not party) as a streamer on Leash, while I was playing Gray Talon. Ban still active, want to play new patch.
What happened:
- 2024: I was banned because someone reported me being in the same team as a streamer
- My character: Gray Talon (completely different from streamer's Leash)
- Context: Streaming was prohibited at the time
- Proof: Discord thread mentioned streamer on Leash, no mention of me specifically
What I did back then:
- Immediately contacted support via Discord after ban
- Someone asked "who was the streamer?"
- I provided the name → conversation ended
- Left Deadlock since no resolution
Current situation:
- Returned to try new patch
- Ban still active (1.5+ years later)
- Don't want new Steam account - all my games, progress, inventory on this one account
- Switching accounts just for one game is too much hassle
