This also happens with Paradox, quick buy echo shard didn't imbue or work.

The best workaround atm is to buy the item manually. If you buy it and pick an ability from the "Select an ability to imbue", it works as intended

Otherwise, you'll have to sell and repurchase it in order to fix the issue.

This does seem widespread. Happened to me with Quicksilver Reload within the past hour or so.
