Abandon Match after trying to spectate

What happened :
Tried to spectate a friend and it failed
Queued for a game with a different friend
When game loaded, it loaded the spectate match i previously tried to watch instead
As soon as I clicked Leave Spectate, I was marked as abandoned (confirmed by friend I queued with) and was given leaver penalty

Game does not show in match history to provide a matchID

I also experienced this after canceling the spectate and got a 30 min penalty to play any game mode

Same thing here, got banned for leaving as a spectator

Had this happen but I force closed game then launched again and youll get a rejoin match button/wont be spectating anymore.
