A whole bunch of Viscous bugs and quirks

Instead of spamming the forums with individual bugs, I'm just gonna dump some of the bugs and quirks I've picked up over my many hours playing Viscous.

Splatter​

Splatter Suspension​

If a splatter somehow manages to bounce with zero velocity, then it will suspend itself midair until it expires. Easiest to reproduce with cube, but it can happen with regular gameplay (extremely rare)

Splatter Cube​

Splatter bounces off cube without using any bounces, even if you do not have T3. This interaction is awesome.

The Cube​

Slope Storage​

The Cube accelerates in the direction of the last slope you stood on, but this only updates when you're touching the ground. You can use this to turn Majestic Leap into a cruise missile. This interaction is awesome.

Physics Override​

The Cube overrides certain movement states like majestic leap killing all momentum upon landing. If you do it right, you can flash cube to convert majestic leap into a slide. This also applies to the abilities of other players (Kelvin's Ice Path with Cube has already been patched).

Delayed Heavy Melee​

Heavy Melee's charge does not end early with The Cube unless if you are inside of The Cube. I take advantage of this a lot with Cube Parrying. Technically not a bug, just unintuitive.

Cube Collision​

Cube collides with players and pushes them in a way that doesn't interact with the physics. Because of this, it can sometimes lead to players clipping through walls.

Puddle Punch​

Instant Cast Buffering​

If you buffer Puddle Punch at the end of its cooldown, then it will Instant Cast even if you have it set to Confirm Cast.

Animation Override​

This has been improved with the new Heavy Melee animation, but Puddle Punch's casting animation can be used to override and hide other animations like dashes, melee, etc.
Also the delayed busy state of Puddle Punch can eat your inputs if you're not careful (technically not a bug, just unintuitive).

Map Jank​

Small details in the map will make Puddle Punch go off in unexpected directions. Also, Puddle Punch sometimes goes inside or through walls, which ends up wasting your punch.

Player Targeting​

Please just remove this. It actively gets in the way of better placement, and has been the bane of my existence. If they stand in the middle of the teleporter like this, then you can not wallpunch them out due to player targeting. There are also many cases where you want to wallpunch player A to prevent escape, but suddenly player B, the enemy Haze, dives into your line of fire while pressing 4, which causes puddle punch to grief your team by launching her above everyone. There has never been a time player targeting has helped me, but there are countless times where it has screwed me over.

Goo Ball​

Static Hurtbox​

Goo Ball's hurtbox does not change with ability range upgrades. Technically not a bug, just unintuitive.

Ball Stuck (exterior like fish eggs)​

The ball can get stuck in certain corners and tight spots. This is difficult to do on accident, but it has happened to me before. I got stuck in the corner between the blue walker bridge and the brick wall in a real match, but I can't find the match ID and I can't reproduce it.
