We alreayd have 2 vampires with differing views on their goals and curse.
I would like to see a third vampire hero.
Their wish? "I want to be free of this curse."
I can see a few options for making them unique as a character.
1) They could be of an age between Mina, and drifter, maybe someone more involved in vampire court politics. Perhaps an older vampire,a count dracula type who is here explicitly for the ritual.
My idea however is a little different:
Vampire firefighter - tanky, supportive, harder to kill in a striaght fight - but with less of a focus on raw power than Mina's role as a marksman, or drifter as a jungling assassin.
Visual design: Firefighter motifs but inverted. The full firefighter suit is to protect them from burning in the sun, not regular flames. Their 02 tank and gas mask? That's blood fueling their abilities.
Ability Kit ideas
Stamina - 3. Like Abrams Victor and Billy, they're a standard tanky stam heroes with some DR abilities.
1 - Axe throw. Throw a fire axe at enemies. Deals melee damage in a burst, and decrease damage of enemy heroes for a duration. Optional: Parries do work, but don't stun. hero. Multi charge when upgraded.
2 - Mist form/protection. Vampire targets an ally unit (hero or otherwise). Grants an aura to them that grants reduced damage from damage outside ~12 meters, improves DR and resists. Longer cooldown self cast. Effects can upgrade or be added on with points such as extra damage for duration or move speed, additional targets.
3- passive ability; like Mina and drifter this is the central concept of the character as a passive. Blood Shield: Character gains a period of increased , damage resist, melee damage, move speed, and a small but continuously regenerating barrier when they parry, when they damage enemy targets who have attacked an ally hero in the last ~x seconds, or when they deal melee damage. Scales with kills.
4 - Blood transformation - turns into a living controllable blood puddle - all abilties gain bonus damage, gain bonus DR, grants a barrier to nearby allies. Duration extended on damaging enemies - very short if not used properly can be very long when scaled.
