I wrote this as a WIP hoping it inspires a hero concept. WIP
Fate’s Tale:
Before knowing what a maelstrom was, what magic was, he knew what loss and pain was. THe young boy arrived, an immigrant along side his father, escaping the tragic events of the first maelstrom event that left everlasting effects on their homeland; the boy too young to understand what had occurred. The young boy and his father set foot anew territory, hopeful in starting over.
Years later, the boy loses his father to an affliction caused by working the plants of Fairfax Industries, as he learned, they were exposing select few workers, eager to jump at the opportunity of increased pay, to collect unknown material with unknown properties; all Fairfax knowing is that they are very, very valuable remnants left by maelstroms.Unfortunately the boy’s father was one of these workers, succumbing to an illness unmet by the new modern era of magic and science, the boy’s father, knowing of his inneviditable death, hands his son a remenant one never witnessed by anyone other than the father and now his son.
Now older and empowered by the strange stone infused into his being , the son aims to summon the patrons. To expose Fairfax. Avenge his father. Restore his homeland.
