I haven’t figured out the character’s appearance or backstory yet; it was just a random spark of inspiration. Look at all the structures on the map—why not create a hero who can fly between buildings?

The character’s primary weapon will be a C96 pistol, featuring the iconic 20-round magazine design.
For balance purposes, its bullet damage starts to fall off beyond 10 meters, with a maximum range of 50 meters.
I’ve designed the hero’s Light Attack and Heavy Attack to synergize with abilities, which I’ll explain in detail below.
The hero fires a grappling hook at a structure, with a maximum range of 10 meters. Upon hitting a structure, the hero is pulled toward the target location.
While flying, the hero can fire another grappling hook elsewhere to change direction. All attacks can be used during flight.
The ability goes on cooldown when the hero lands.
T1: +50% flight speed
T2: +5 meters to grappling hook range
T3: This ability never goes on cooldown under any circumstances
When the hero targets an enemy hero, a weak point marker(visible only to each other) appears on a random part of both the hero’s and the enemy’s bodies.
The hero can deal extra damage and gain a temporary shieldby hitting the enemy’s weak point.
The enemy can remove their own weak point marker by hitting the hero’s weak point first.
T1: +50 shield value
T2: +100% bullet speed
T3: Gain 10% temporary evasion on hit; this effect stacks.
The hero switches between two attack modes with this ability.
By default, the hero wields a Steel Blade:
When equipped with a Thunder Spear, the attack mode becomes ranged:
T1: Heavy Attack reduces the enemy’s bullet resistance.
T2: Reduces the charge time of Heavy Attack.
T3: Heavy Attack increases all of the hero’s resistances.
When activated, the hero gains a shield that absorbs all types of damage and regenerates itselffor 5 seconds.
After 5 seconds, the shield explodes, dealing AoE damage to all nearby enemies equal to base damage + 50% of the damage absorbed.
T1: +30% explosion radius
T2: +100% shield regeneration rate
T3: Immune to Primordial damage while the shield is active.

- Light Attack: Fires a slow-moving projectile with a max range of 10 meters that explodes on impact.
- Heavy Attack: Fires a projectile that detonates instantly.
T1: Heavy Attack reduces the enemy’s bullet resistance.
T2: Reduces the charge time of Heavy Attack.
T3: Heavy Attack increases all of the hero’s resistances.

When activated, the hero gains a shield that absorbs all types of damage and regenerates itselffor 5 seconds.
