I'm not sure why random strangers are summoning me, but this clip is pretty rad. Movement could use improvement though, could be getting a lot more distance with the puddle punches if you dash or walljump before getting punched.
Carpet cancels if you use abilities afterwards, but if you use abilities before carpet, then it's fine. Carpet ball is a pretty well-known tech, but it's not used as often in favor of phantom strike.
That's "normal" by Viscous standards. Puddle punch is essentially just rocket jumping, so it can amplify any acceleration effect. This includes dashing, walljumping, double jumping, majestic leap, you name it. (recording is a bit scuffed, but you get the gist)
Who is this mysterious goo man? I'm still in awe at this, it's so clean. He did perfect bhops to bypass the urn's speed limit, did a bunch of walljumps to dodge Dynamo's attacks, and then tried to heavy melee the Paradox while getting swapped.
It took a while, but I finally found a way to repro this annoying (albeit rare) bug. What I'm assuming is going on is the same reason why cornerboosting is possible, and it causes a bad interaction with the way dashing "sticks" to slopes.
