    Viscous clip :)

I'm not sure why random strangers are summoning me, but this clip is pretty rad. Movement could use improvement though, could be getting a lot more distance with the puddle punches if you dash or walljump before getting punched.

Viscous on ult with magic carpet?

Carpet cancels if you use abilities afterwards, but if you use abilities before carpet, then it's fine. Carpet ball is a pretty well-known tech, but it's not used as often in favor of phantom strike.

Viscous can die to friendly fire if ally uses Rebuttal

Local goo man gets destroyed by tier 1 item

Viscous can gain massive amounts of speed if he combines his puddle punch with a vent

That's "normal" by Viscous standards. Puddle punch is essentially just rocket jumping, so it can amplify any acceleration effect. This includes dashing, walljumping, double jumping, majestic leap, you name it. (recording is a bit scuffed, but you get the gist)

    Least insane Viscous player

Who is this mysterious goo man? I'm still in awe at this, it's so clean. He did perfect bhops to bypass the urn's speed limit, did a bunch of walljumps to dodge Dynamo's attacks, and then tried to heavy melee the Paradox while getting swapped.

Dashing off a ledge causes you to lose all momentum

It took a while, but I finally found a way to repro this annoying (albeit rare) bug. What I'm assuming is going on is the same reason why cornerboosting is possible, and it causes a bad interaction with the way dashing "sticks" to slopes.

    Wall Jump Bug

It wasn't S + space that did it. Melee counts towards walljump fatigue (including light melee). It's currently bugged where melee on the ground also does this without properly resetting fatigue, so be careful with that.

Walljump broken by grounded Heavy Melee

You need to touch the ground again before your walljumps reset.

    Crazy idea: time stop

Not 100%. I just want to see what happens if you change tactical pausing from a griefing tactic to a game mechanic. Not the point. The point is that it's dynamo, but worse. There are other abilities in the game that can unintentionally grief teammates, like ice dome, cube, wall, or rescue beam

    Crazy idea: time stop

Let me clarify: pausing for everyone in a small radius would basically have the same effect as black hole, except that it also annoys teammates. Slowing everything in a much larger radius is just boring. I'm not arguing that this idea isn't stupid or overpowered, I just want to see if it's...

    Crazy idea: time stop

If you go that route, then it just becomes a different flavor of dynamo ult. The idea behind it is that tactical pausing, while being incredibly toxic and may get you banned, leads to a lot of interesting standoffs as everyone re-evaluates the situation.

    Crazy idea: time stop

This is an incredibly stupid idea, but I want to see if it's possible to make it work. Ability pauses the game for everyone but the user for a few seconds Very long cooldown because it would be incredibly annoying, and refresher does not reset it Anything like projectiles do not travel until...

    gameplay suggestions

There is a forum for game mechanics, it's just private. Not private as in "you can't use this," but private as in "only you and Valve can see your posts" (they probably should clarify that). The idea behind it is that people post their own opinions rather than following a bandwagon. There's a...

    Boxed in T1 vitality

Yeah, it's in a weird spot where it would be great as a throwaway buy, but not enough to justify t2. I think it would make more sense as a hero ability, but that has its own issue where if it's just one hero that does it, then everyone knows not to trust boxes.
