We have had a couple of games now where my friends doorbell have been denied by large soul bags because shots can't go through them. Not sure if this is intended. It can even be played around in fights to use for survival etc.
I don't think it will slow the game at all. It's a visible ward (Of course it could be placed obscurely) but it can be shot. Sure it will ping the map saying that your ward was taken out and the enemy will get a slow but if it was taken out by range they won't know who, how many or from where...
I get that Deadlock doesn't need that much of vision as other MOBA's. That still doesn't mean having that extra vision when you are laning or camp stealing is a bad thing and can help out better plays.

If you do play with a friend though and an enemy gets away from them with low health he could call it out and you might be able to catch him with your Owl and play it that way to secure that extra spirit you gain.

I am also a bit confused on how the new buffer window works. But I think the concept is the same. You have to secure the kill. If it's an assist it doesn't count.

It should be from detonation. But I don't know if the new "Buffer Period" in the patch notes is that you kill someone with guided owl you have the last hit with the owl then wait 3 seconds and you get the stack.
But as i see in the last video you do actually get a stack for the kill.
