I feel being shot whilst hiding is not the ideal way to handle it. Most objects you'd impersonate are breakables that would normally break in one shot. I think instead of "interact with" it should be that the lunge is triggered by breaking the object. It's simpler that way, and a nasty surprise...
I mean, the major history divergence in this game was 1899 wasn't it? Maybe the ottoman empire never fell.
Crescent Slash could do light melee damage + a bonus, similar to puddle punch. Would let it scale with melee items, and apply melee lifesteal or spirit strike. Doesn't have to though...
I think reducing enemy stamina is fine, several abilities do it already. Limiting it to melee to trigger it also seems like a good limitation. The idea they lose a stamina, then regain it after a few seconds rather than just lose it and have to recover it normally also doesn't seem very strong...
Reducing wind friction would cause massive numbers of new and annoying movement techs, that benefit a small population of the player base immensely, whilst changing very little for the rest. There is a LOT of movement tech in deadlock, and some very high skill expression with it, but the kind of...
I think how petrify works should be clarified. Does it make you invulnerable, or just stun you? Does being made of stone make you take more or less damage? Can it end early such as by taking enough damage to "break" the stone, or is it a fixed duration?
The first ability, and the visual design seem amazing. The gun seems okay, but the idea of a wider bepop laser seems absurd for soul grabbing.
Sacrifice seems a bit lame. Only two abilties here trigger it, the health regen feels like it's just mitigating the cost you paid, and the spirit is...
Candle of restoration is identical to a mcginnis ability, restoration field. Hers also raises fire rate and heals in an area.
Number 2 isn't clear on what the range is, it is also useless outside of lane. Perhaps instead something that can both help the wave and in fights?
Candle troopers have...
In order to shoot fast again, does it fire faster for having low bullets and i have to reload, or does simply not firing for a bit to "cool down" the gun make me shoot fast again? The restoring ammo is interesting.
It doesn't matter what the animation is, unless it's telegraphed harder and slower than a real heavy melee, it should be light melee + a bonus. I also got the impression it had no startup, because that is what would be most useful in the air, similar to lash ground pound. With a startup, heavy...
The idea of the opponent leaving a trail on the ground, rather than just being revealed etc, seems very interesting. Maybe it could be a trail of paint though? Call it something like the "inkwell" or the "paintbrush". If it was a bunch of pieces of scrap metal etc, I'd probably expect to be able...
