Abilities:​

  1. Crescent Slash:
    • Description: Zayd performs a sweeping attack with his scimitar, hitting all enemies in a cone in front of him. Enemies hit are knocked back slightly and receive damage.
  2. Dervish Dance:
    • Description: Zayd performs a series of agile spins, allowing him to momentarily evade incoming attacks and slip out of combat. During this time, he becomes untargetable and can reposition himself to escape danger or surprise enemies from an unexpected angle.
  3. Echo of Valor:
    • Description: Zayd inspires allies in a radius, increasing their spirit damage and bullet damage for a limited time. This ability encourages teamwork and enhances the offensive capabilities of his team.
  4. Sands of Time
    • Description: Zayd unleashes a powerful wave of magical sand that engulfs a target area. Enemies caught within the wave experience slowed movement and attack speed for a short duration. Additionally, they take continuous damage from the encroaching sands. Allies within the affected area receive a temporary boost in speed and damage for a short period after the effect ends.
 
I mean, the major history divergence in this game was 1899 wasn't it? Maybe the ottoman empire never fell.

Crescent Slash could do light melee damage + a bonus, similar to puddle punch. Would let it scale with melee items, and apply melee lifesteal or spirit strike. Doesn't have to though.
Dervish Dance would likely be confusing visually. Spinning around already exists in stuff like haze's bullet dance, yet shooting her works fine. Maybe illusory swords could spin around him during it too and it could make metal clanging sounds like he's parrying incoming spells and bullets?
