This game is very CPU bound, I'm struggling to run it properly with my i7 10875H/RTX 2080 Super Max-Q machine, and it runs even worse on my Fedora install using Proton (around 10-20FPS slower with more stutters).
Your CPU might be getting a bit too old to run this game, and I don't think...
