I believe that getting silenced while in the transformation process for Yamato's ult causes the transformation to be cancelled but the FOV change does not revert back to normal until the next time the transformation occurs.

Looks like it was purely client-sided but I can assure you that I could see an extra 4 feet behind/around me until the next time I used Shadow Transformation.
