I've recorded a video demonstrating the bug. It is as simple as stated in the title, the primary fire is unaffected. View attachment deadlock_unbsmkqhCH.mp4
But it does gain damage, it's increased from 63 to 68. This is the amount of bullet damage yamato gains per pellet from level ups. Afaik, this was always the amount she gained on her alt fire. I was not able to find any evidence that the alt fire scaled differently than it already does on live.
It might not ever have scaled on live but this surely is unintended or at least a bug. It is a significant downgrade to Yamato's gun. Both Shiv's and Viscous' gun are far less affected by this.

That's true, but it does seem like a bit of an oversight for her m2 to scale at the same rate as a single pellet. Yamato's m1 scales at 0.14 dmg x 5 pellets = 0.7 dmg per boon. If her m2 scaled at 0.7, it would be on par with non-shotgun characters with slow fire rates (eg Geist is 0.86, Holliday is 1.08).
It also doesn't make sense in comparison to other alt fires - Viscous' m2 scales at the same rate as his m1 (0.45), and Shiv's m2 scales at double his m1 if you hit every pellet (0.14 * 6 pellets = 0.84, 0.14 * 12 pellets = 1.68)

Yeah it's definitely consistent in the way scaling is done per projectile, but it doesn't make sense for balance in my opinion. It's weird that Viscous' m2 scales ~3x more than Yamato's, and Shiv's (maximum) m2 damage scales over 10x more.
