Wukong

Here's my idea. A hero that is directly inspired by Wukong...potentially even literally named Wukong. My recommendation is to make this look like a clear wannabe of the character, and not the real deal. Like a nerdy naruto fan doing the moves, and somehow they pull it off, now they're jamming to their own coolness. The abilities could be a fusion of science and nerdy ingenuity like a cosplayer who really excelled.

The hero has melee weapons default. They use a stave, the stave stretches forward to strike. Right click is a CC ability knock back, its also the same button press for attacking your pillars.

Your melee attacks become progressively faster if you use them in sequence and land the hit on a valid target.

(numbers denote the ability I think they are packaged under.)

1. When the ability is activated pillars of rubble form at struck locations. They look like styled Asian mountains from art, mixed with some expression of generic rubble.

2. The Wukong hero can jump up to these pillars with an input, the animation is either a leap up like an exaggerated mantle using the staff, or further away pillars he summons a cloud to carry him to them.

2 From atop a pillar Wukong can strike far further with his staff.

3 Pillars can be destroyed by enemies or by Wukong. Pillars destroyed by the enemy form dust clouds for a small duration. Like half a second.

3 Pillars Hit by Wukong's right click deal damage in a line further than he can normally strike, even while on the pillar. They are first shoved moving horizontally, and then they tip over. This is a 2 mouse button click interaction. First a shove to be able to position it further, and deals light damage, and then a damaging ranged attack throwing rubble like a flakk cannon from unreal tournament. (I imagine similar properties for the projectiles gravity and bouncing off walls)

4 Wukong at anypoint in base contact with a pillar you can send out a clone. The clone will move forward. If the clone dies by an enemy, you regain the ability. If you are out in the open you can use a clone charge to tank some damage, like an intangible effect in mobas.

Wukong's abilities look like this on the bar.
1. Pillar raising strike. 2. Cloud Jump 3. Passive: Mountain Mover 4: Clone

Ideally this character would play like this.

You move in by blocking line of sight with the pillars, they waste time either trying to hit you, or the pillar. You approach this way, or you engage via the top of the pillar changing vertical heights easily, to poke at enemy players.

You can push your luck or use a pillar to strike an enemy. Either by exposing yourself at the top, or by using the mountain mover. or you can approach by making them retreat away from a falling pillar behind cover.

You can try deception and use daring movement and deception to try and use pillars and lost LOS to approach enemies or positions you could not reach given the situation normally. Either escaping, or attacking...doing shenanigans to throw off your enemy..

There are some things that I take as a given, falling off a destroyed pillar (by an enemy) deals added damage to you. Your clone has less hp, can't attack, and has varied movements that aren't completely easy to suss out, or replicate without thought. The animation for the cloud jump is relatively snappy, and only flashy if you use it on a further away pillar with the cloud portion of the jump. Your clone expires after a certain period of time. Using the stave to generate a pillar is considered a valid target for the purposes of increasing attack speed. A pillar generated on an enemy, doesn't knock them up at best it knocks them back just enough to be behind the location, they will always be moved to a valid location, with the thinking being to not CC them via the pillar.
