Wraith Cards interrupt slide

I've just got done testing this, on every hero within practice tool. From what I have gathered, it seems to be an intended design decision. Every single hero ability that plays even a little animation while sliding (card trick included) cancels slide. The few that don't cancel slide:
  • Abilities without animations for slide (Spirit Snare for example)
  • Abilities that eventually lose animations (Rejuvenating Aura after 3rd upgrade)
  • All of Vyper's abilities
While testing, I did find a few oddities:
  • Puddle Punch doesn't cancel slide immediately, but cancels after Viscous reaches down (seems intended and lend more credence to the animations cancelling slides theory).
  • Two abilities (Geist's Essence Bomb and Holliday's Lasso) both clearly play an animation, yet don't cancel slide for some reason.
I tested every hero with Fleetfoot and Burst fire for the extra slide distance. I'd test actives and record footage next, but my pinky finger is currently on fire from all the sliding.
