Wraith cards summon with melee hits

Hello, I don't know if this is intended or not, but, you can summon wraith cards with melee hits when the ability says that weapon damage summons them. Do melees count as weapon damage too? weren't they supposed to be a different cat?

It's never directly explained, but Weapon damage refers to both Bullet and Melee. So increases/decreases or weapon damage specific things include both guns and melee. Bullet damage effects only effect bullets, and melee damage only effect melee.
