It's unfortunate that this bug exists, but in your case, you could continue playing after respawning.
The other day I had a similar bug where I got my ability stuck, but I could still move. when respawning I couldn't use my abilities, hopefully, the fix they pushed yesterday is shown as respawning and regaining your abilities back
