If you've got testing tools enabled (available in the legacy sandbox mode), you can change the hero to spawn in. However, it doesn't have the same "type to search" functionality that regular hero selection does.
Ordinarily, when you're changing your own character by pressing escape and going to "Swap Hero", you can narrow down who you're looking for by typing their name and they will be highlighted. This does not happen for bots.
