What if I don't have enough active slots? Is it possible to have 5 active slots? (rem player)

If you want 5, the next person will want 6. Then where's the limit?

I think it's balanced in the sense that you have to decide what's more important & how to manage your active item slots, and towards the strength & utility of active items.

I think it's balanced in the sense that you have to decide what's more important & how to manage your active item slots, and towards the strength & utility of active items.
I think some items are also balanced in a way that they take up active item slots - sometimes you buy cultist sacrifice and late game its not very effective in a fight compared to items like Curse or Knockdown but you don't want to sell.

I have brainstormed the ability for the player to be able to manage/choose what items are actually active like you can drag any active item off its slot and/or redrag from the inventory to re-manage active items/inventory.

If you purchased more than 4 active item slots, you buy the 5th active item but has no slot for it, but if you clear an item slot by dragging an item off its own slot, you can re-slot the new items - preferably you would buy the active item after you drag an item off its slot/make a free space to not lose any time
