I'm talking about a character with a big ass shield that protects others, not a paige shield. Something like the TF2 Medic's MvM shield would be badass, and I think its a good answer to abilities like Celeste ultimate and a bunch of other projectiles.
Kelvin's dome already blocks projectiles from the outside and probably could do it better than a shield hero, but Kelvin is kind of hard to play around in unorganized pub games. I think a shield hero would make that "protect my teammates" fantasy more accessible to the masses.
